Arlie Miller

Arlie Miller, 84, of Ray, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was born July 20, 1929 in Perry County, Kentucky, son of the late Galileo and Easter Fugate Miller. Arlie was married to the late Stella L. “Lucy” Adams Miller.

He retired from Dayton Malleable Company as a diesel mechanic and attended Log Pile Church.

Arlie is survived by his children, Ernest Miller of Arizona, Lois (Willie) Rhoden of Ray and Rodney (Ana) Miller of Ray; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brothers, Dennis, Rufus Ernest and Thornton Miller; a sister, Pearl and his companion, Laura Truex of Ray.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, James Miller; several brothers and infant sister.

Funeral services will be held 12 P.M., Monday, March 10, 2014 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur with Rev. James McFadden officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Vinton County. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday, from 10 A.M. until 12 P.M.
