Arthur "Art" L. Boyer

Arthur L. “Art” Boyer, 67, of Zaleski, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at his residence. He was born March 17, 1946 in Jackson County, son of the late Clarence and Prudence Lowe Boyer.

Art worked at Auston Powder Company for 38 years as a boiler operator.

He is survived by his sons, Brian (Cheryl Stites) Boyer of McArthur and Scott (Jessie Graban) Boyer of McArthur; daughter, Julie (Jeff Daugherty) Boyer of New Marshfield; grandchildren, Kyra, Neva, Jody, Darrin, Josh, Cody, Ryan and Hope; four great grandchildren; brothers, Robert, Paul and Lawrence and sisters, Martha, Wilma and Patty.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jasper, Charles and Roger and sister, Phyllis.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Friday, March 14, 2014 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Dr. Walt Goble officiating. Interment will be in Radcliff Cemetery, Radcliff. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 12 P.M. until the time of the service.
