Jeneva Christine Amore

Jeneva Christine Amore, 88, of McArthur, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 at her residence. She was born November 18, 1925 in Stearns, Kentucky, daughter of the late Isham West and Hattie Wilson West Ball. Jeneva was married to Leo I. Amore, who survives.

She was a retired press operator from General Motors in Columbus.

Jeneva is survived by her son, Ronald L. (Mary) E. Amore of Washington Courthouse; daughter, Beverly Ann (Richard) Long of Savannah, Georgia; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a brother, Jimmie (Thelma) Ball of Riverview, Michigan and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Austin Eugene West.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Monday, March 24, 2014 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Carl Radcliff officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 6-8 P.M.
