Larry M. Williams

Larry M. Williams, 67, of Rushville, passed away Friday, April 11, 2014 at Heartland of Fairfield, Pleasantville. He was born April 19, 1946, in Richwood, West Virginia, son of the late Lucille Williams. He was widower to the late Mary Reeves Williams.

He was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Marine Corps and retired from the W.C. National Mailing.

Larry is survived by his sons, Michael Todd (Erin) Williams of Ravenna and Jeremy (Sherry) Warren of Nelsonville; daughters, Trena (Rob Cahill) Williams of Bremen Cindy (Scott Owens) Warren of Logan and Carey (Jason) Nicolia of Rushville; 14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and a sister Jeannie Williams of Craigsville, West Virginia.

In addition to his wife, Mary, and parents, Larry was preceded in death by a son, Jason Wesley Warren and a grandson, Jason Michael Warren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Chaplain Greg Schmalfeldt officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville where a military graveside service will be conducted by the Combined Color Guard Unit. Friends may call Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
