Mary E. Cassady

Mary E. Cassady, 81, of Logan, passed away Sunday, April 20, 2014 at her residence. She was born October 5, 1932 in Columbus, daughter of the late Denzil and Emma Huffman Bentley. Mary was married for 60 years to Robert J. Cassady I, who survives.

She retired from AAA, was a member of St. John Catholic Church and was a former member of the Logan Rotary Club.

Mary is survived by her children, Kathleen Tibbs, Robert J. Cassady II, George H. (Connie) Cassady, Jennifer (David) Inboden, Matt (Angelina) Cassady and Tim (Alison) Cassady all of Logan; grandchildren, Bob (Ann) Cassady, Carrie (Jon) Arnold, Kristen Cassady, Tess Cassady, Ryan Cassady, Kathryn Inboden, Kyle Cassady, Brooklyn Cassady, Heather Cassady, Layton Cassady, Simon Cassady and Mallory Cassady and a great grandchild, Lydia Arnold.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Molly Huffman, brother, Denzil Bentley II; granddaughter, Loryn Cassady and son-in-law, Harry Tibbs.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 A.M., Thursday, April 24, 2014 in St. John Catholic Church, 351 N. Market St., Logan, with Monsignor William A. Dunn officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral mass. Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, on Wednesday, from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. with a Rosary Service being held at 7:30 P.M.
