Melinda Kay Toops

Melinda Kay Toops, 61, of Logan, passed away Monday, April 28, 2014 at Arcadia Acres Nursing Home.  She was born November 29, 1952 in Logan, the daughter of the late Frederick O. and Elizabeth Carter Toops.

Melinda is survived by her brothers, Jerry Lee (Letha) Toops of Zaleski, Larry Lee (Wanda) Toops of Union Furnace; sisters, Maridel Toops of Union Furnace, Susan Giuliani of Chicago, IL, JoAnne (Bill) Webb of Logan, Pamela (Steve) Venters of Delaware and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Melinda was preceded in death by her brothers, Francis, John, Russell and Nick Toops

At Melinda’s request, cremation has taken place.  A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
