Frances M. Kelly

Frances M. Kelly, 96, of Nelsonville, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born December 25, 1917 in Nelsonville, daughter of the late Roy and Edna Hampton Barron. Frances was the widow of the late Thomas Jarden Kelly.

She graduated from Nelsonville High School in 1935 and was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church in Nelsonville.

Frances is survived by her sons, King Kelly of Nelsonville, Michael (Mildred) Kelly of Hawaii, Shayne Kelly of Lancaster, Thomas (Marie) Kelly of Oregon, Patrick (Debra) Kelly of The Plains, Timothy (Christina) Kelly of Nelsonville, Shawn Kelly of Newark and Daniel Kelly of Logan; a daughter, Sheila (Bill) Strosnider of West Virginia; twenty eight grandchildren; forty five great grandchildren; fifteen great great grandchildren and a sister, Esther Jeffrey of Lancaster.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Maureen Kelly; brothers, Bernard and Earl Barron and her brother-in-law, David Jeffrey.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Friday, May 16, 2014 in the Faith Tabernacle Church, 17499 Diamond Brick Rd., Nelsonville with Rev. King Kelly and Rev. Tim Kelly officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, on Thursday, from 4-8 P.M. and on Friday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
