Fanchion B. Bowers

Fanchion B. Bowers, 88, of Logan, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. She was born September 20, 1925 in Hocking County, daughter of the late Albert and Jennie Denton Woodard Sr. Fanchion was the widow of the late James R. Bowers.

She is survived by her son, Bruce (Nancy) Rheinscheld of Logan; stepsons, David (Julie) Bowers and Dan Bowers, both of Columbus; a daughter, Beulah Rarick of Tipp City; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, John (Lois) Woodard of Lancaster; sisters, Grace Woodard of McArthur, Martha (Bud) Lemings of Columbus and Sara (Claude) Bentley of Creola and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, William J. Rheinscheld.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Pastor Michael Menrath officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 9 A.M. until the time of the service.
