Vaundella June Fouty

Vaundella June Fouty, 86, of Nelsonville, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Hicking Creek Nursing Home in The Plains. She was born February 17, 1928 in Nelsonville, daughter of the late Mahlon and Averil Birge Lanning. Vaundella was the widow of the late James Robert “Bob” Fouty.

She retired from Goodyear in Logan and was a member of the Nelsonville United Pentecostal Church.

Vaundella is survived by her son, Jim Fouty II of Nelsonville; grandson, James R. (Betty) Fouty III of Chauncey and three great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery New Addition, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 9 A.M. until the time of the service.
