Colleen Marie Weaver

Colleen Marie Weaver, 54, of Ray, passed Friday, May 16, 2014 at her residence. She was born May 23, 1959 in Columbus, daughter of the late Melvin and Ginger Langdon Remy. Colleen was married to Buddy J. Weaver, who survives.

She retired from Lee’s Steakhouse after 15 years of service.

Colleen is survived by her sons, Kenneth Allen Weaver and Joseph Weaver, both of Ray; foster sons, Elias and Nathan Leonard; two grandchildren; brother, Harry Melvin Remy II of Johnson City, Tennessee and sisters, Crystal Combs of Chillicothe, Stacy Dunlap of Ray and Vanessa Hopkins of Ray.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Vikki Bledsoe.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 21, 2014 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Carl Radcliff officiating. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 5-8 p.m.
