Frances J. Tripp

Frances J. Tripp, 94, of Rockbridge, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Logan Health Care Center in Logan. She was born October 24, 1919 in Beauty, West Virginia, daughter of the late Walter A. and LuUlma O’Dell Morris. Frances was the widow of the late Arthur R. Tripp Sr.

She was a member of the former Immanuel United Methodist Church in Logan.

Frances is survived by her sons, Arthur R. (Cappy) Tripp Jr. of Salem, West Virginia, Thomas T. (Pam) Tripp of Rockbridge and Gary R. (Barb) Tripp of Morehead, Kentucky; daughters, Linda L. (John) McGowan of Wadsworth, Ohio and Diane (Earl) Murphy of Zanesville; thirty grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Lanny Tripp; a grandchild; brother, John Morris and sisters, Juanita Walk, Margueritte Wireman and Clara O’Leary.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to granddaughter, Guyla Lindinger, Karen Wharton, Anna Tipton, Noelle Hickman and everyone at FairHope Hospice.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 28, 2014 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Pastor John Williams officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Zaleski. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 4-7 p.m.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Frances J. Tripp to FairHope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
