Saundra Kay Voits, 71, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at her residence. She was born October 28, 1942 in Columbus, daughter of the late Paul and Virginia Belle Henry Kelly.

She was a retired RN and was the first female police officer in Logan.

Saundra is survived by her sons, Mark Woltz of The Plains and Jon (Lynette) Voits of Columbus; daughters, Kelly (Sam) Hinkle of Junction City, Ohio and Teresa (Rich) Blake of Logan; grandchildren, Robbie Grove, Joe Grove, Richard Blake, Jesse Voits, Jackson Blake and Tequilla Hinkle; several great grandchildren; sisters, Sharon Harden of Homestead, Florida and Lisa Cole of Richmond, Indiana; her best friend, Carol Smith of Logan and her pet cat, Gracie.

At Saundra’s request, no services will be held at this time. Her family will celebrate her life at a later date. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
