Ivor R. Lehman

Ivor R. Lehman, 90, of Logan, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. He was born March 21, 1924 in Hocking County, son of the late Jacob Wilbur and Myrta Alice Kasler Lehman. Ivor was married to Irene Mays McKinley Lehman, who survives.

He retired from General Clay in Logan and was a member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church.

Ivor is survived by his son, James (Karen) Lehman of Lancaster; daughter, Marilyn Oates; stepsons, Ray (Jenette) McKinley of Logan, Leonard McKinley of New Straitsville and Robert McKinley of Logan; stepdaughters, Debbie (Walter) Harper of Logan, Diane (Jim) Hunter of Logan, Mary Hanning of Logan and Tammy (Tyler) Hart of Lithopolis; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren and brothers, Ernest of Logan and Garel of Naples, Florida.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Mary E. Lehman; sons, Iven and Ivor Lehman Jr.; brothers, Gerald, John, Halsted, Warner and Leonard Lehman; sisters, Edytha Walker and Viola Mingus and a stepson, Carl McKinley.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, June, 5, 2014 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Rick Bennington officiating. Interment will be in Smith Chapel Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 6-8 P.M.
