Barbara Ann Kennedy

Barbara Ann Kennedy, 74, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. She was born August 17, 1939 in McArthur, daughter of the late Floyd and Esther Nicholson McLain. Barbara was the widow of the late Harold R. Kennedy.

She is survived by her daughter, Anita Kennedy Moore of Lancaster; step granddaughter, Samantha Moore; brother, Marvin McLain of Wellston; sister, Jean Mercer of McArthur; and brother and sister-in-law, Floyd and Janet Kennedy of Newark.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Rice and Patricia Wilt and sister-in-law, LouAnn White.

Barbara’s wishes were to be cremated and services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W High St., McArthur.
