Nola Diane Arthur, 64, of Logan, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014 at her residence. She was born January 19, 1950 in Logan, daughter of the late Sam Ford and Jessie Thompson Martin. Diane was married to Rev. Ricci Arthur, who survives.
She attended Haydenville United Methodist Church, Smith Chapel United Methodist Church, Ebenezer United Methodist Church and Carbon Hill United Methodist Church.
Diane is survived by her stepson, Scott (Tricia) Arthur of Denver, Colorado; stepdaughter, Jo (Steve) Poling of Logan; grandchildren, Katy and Nate Poling, Jackson, Sullivan and Anderson Arthur; brothers, Jim (Beth) Martin of Logan and Allen Martin of Logan; sister, Vicky (Roger) Tackett of Mt. Gilead and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Hoyd; stepfather, Rex Martin and her step grandson, Duncan Arthur.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 17, 2014 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Ricci Arthur officiating. Interment will be in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
