Louella M. Riley

Louella M. Riley, 91, of Rockbridge, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. She was born April 20, 1923 in Wurtland, Kentucky, daughter of the late Thomas M. and Allie Dickerson Maggard. Louella was the widow of the late George W. Riley.

She worked at the former JC Penny Co. in Logan and was a member of the Logan Church of The Nazarene.

Louella is survived by her son, Michael W. (Angie) Riley of Columbus; daughters, Sharon (David) Ety of Lancaster and Paula (Robert) Fruehling of Cleveland; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren and sisters, Allene Galligher of Ontario, California and Wanda Rapp of Waco, Texas.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 24, 2014 in the Logan Church of The Nazarene, 650 Walhonding Ave., Logan, with Pastor Jeff Gray officiating. Interment will be in Knollwood Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, on Monday, from 6-8 p.m. and on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
