Dorothy Mae Hall Nicholson

Dorothy Mae Hall Nicholson, 76, of Chillicothe, Ohio, formerly of McArthur, Ohio, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio, after an illness. She was born December 17, 1937 in Fallsburg, Ohio, daughter of the late Clarence Hall and Eva Kilbera Hall. Dorothy was the widow of the late Robert G. Nicholson.

She is survived by her sons, James Nicholson (Gallipolis, Ohio) and Robert Nicholson Jr. (McArthur, Ohio); daughters, Becky and Karen Nicholson (Chillicothe, Ohio) and Dorothy Hubbard (Wellston, Ohio). Dorothy is the proud grandmother of seven grandsons, Robert Hubbard, Brandon Hubbard and Rick Hubbard (and their father, Rick Hubbard of Wellston, Ohio), Kaleb Kendrick Nicholson Uhrig (Keith Uhrig, Kaleb’s father), Seth Nicholson, Patrick Nicholson and Matthew Nicholson (McArthur) and a sister, Rosalie Miller of Flemingsburg, Kentucky.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Clarence Edgar Hall.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M., Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Donald Lamb officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 12 p.m. until the time of the service.
