Lowell E. Nutter Jr.

Lowell E. Nutter Jr., 85, of Logan, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 at his residence. He was born January 21, 1929 in Hocking County, the son of Lowell Sr. and Florence I. Daubenmire Nutter. He was married to Patricia A. Collins Nutter, who survives, for 25 years.



In addition to his wife, Patricia, he is survived by his sons, Melvin (Stephanie) Nutter of Rockbridge, Kevin (Natalie) Nutter of Logan and Allen Nutter of Sugar Grove; daughters, Kathy (Jim) Stimmell of Lancaster, Rose (Dan) Kerr of Buckeye Lake, Cindy Shumaker of Sugar Grove and Christina (Everett) Nutter-Ryan of Logan; 23 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, George Nutter of Florida, and Bill Nutter of Columbus; sisters, Louella (Roger) Guess of Lancaster, Evelyn Staten of VanWert and Esther Whitcraft of Gibisonville.



In addition to his parents, Lowell was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Lee Nutter and Lowell W. Nutter, a grandson, A.J. Nutter; brothers, Bob, Paul, Jess, Ralph and Parley Nutter; sisters, Ruth Layman, Roxy Schlegal and Anna Mae Smith.



Lowell’s wishes were to be cremated. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. 2nd St., Logan, Ohio.
