Glenn Eugene Tatman

Glenn Eugene Tatman, 63, of South Bloomingville, passed away Friday, July 4, 2014 at Maple Hills Nursing Home in McArthur. He was born February 2, 1951 in Vinton County, son of the late Glen Wood Tatman and Evelyn Maxine Baker Tatman Johnson.

He formerly worked for Adelmann and Clark Sawmill in McArthur.

Glenn is survived by his son, David (Crystal) Tatman of Pueblo, Colorado; daughter, Autumn (Dean) Schrader of McArthur; grandchildren, Laramie Gussler, Jacob Schrader, Christopher, Alexis, and Elizabeth Tatman, Justin, Shane, Zach and Brooke Hall; great grandchildren, Macey and Brayden Gussler; sisters, Rose (Raymond) Withem of Lancaster, Mary (Norman) Hart of Amanda, Louise (Carl) Reid of South Bloomingville, Dorothy (Earl) Johnson of Chillicothe, Pauline Tatman of McArthur and Fern (Willard ) McCray of McArthur and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Steven “Scott” Tatman.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, July 10, 2014 in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Vinton County with Willard McCray officiating. No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
