Rocky Lee Whightsel Sr.

Rocky Lee Whightsel Sr., 64, of McArthur, passed away Friday, July 25, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born May 11, 1950 in Fairfield County, son of the late Paul R. and Delores Anthony Holt. Rocky was married to Vivian “Sissy” Seitz Whightsel, who survives.

He is survived by his son, Rocky Lee (Misty) Whightsel of McArthur; daughters, Tina (Garry) Brown of Jackson and Tonya (Kenny) Holley of McArthur; twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brothers, Chris Whightsel of Rushville and step brother, Randy Holt of Lancaster; step sister, Rhonda Robinson of Lancaster and step mother, Jackie Whightsel of Lancaster.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond David Whightsel.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 29, 2014 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St, McArthur, with Pastor Carl Radcliff officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 6-8 p.m.
