Vickie K. Shelby

Vickie K. Shelby, 63, of Logan, passed away Friday, August 1, 2014 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. She was born July 16, 1951 in Ross County, daughter of the late John and Betty Reed Coyle. She was married to David Shelby, who survives, for 42 years.

Vickie was a member of the Faith Journey Ministers and loved crafts, painting, drawing and sewing.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her step-son, David (Robin) Shelby Jr. of Lancaster; step-daughter, Jackie S. (Bill) Lewis of Logan; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren; brother, Richard (Linda) Coyle of Chillicothe; sister-in-law, Sharon Coyle of McArthur and several aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Jackie Lee Coyle and Harold Lester Coyle; paternal grandparents, John and Delta Coyle and her maternal grandparents, John and Dolly Reed.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. 2nd St., Logan, with Phil Stevens officiating. Interment will be at Knollwood Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call Wednesday, from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
