Harold E. Wilson, 83, of Laurelville, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014 at The Pickering House in Lancaster. He was born October 22, 1930 in Hocking County, son of the late Pearl and Nora Hiles Wilson. Harold was married to Blanche Hedges Wilson, who survives.
He retired from Logan Clay Products after 32 years and attended Dresbach Church in Tarlton.
Harold is survived by his daughters, Mary Jo Wilson of Laurelville, Peggy (Tom) Douglas of Lancaster and Terri (Bob) Starner of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Misty (Corey) Altier, Ashley (Jim) Murphy and Kirby Douglas; great grandchildren, Jaxson, Kyleigh and Logan Altier; a brother, Delmer Wilson of Bedford, Kentucky and sister, Freda Thompson of Akron.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John R. Wilson and grandson, Shane Starner.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 3, 2014 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Daniel Shepherd officiating. Interment will be in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.
The family suggests contributions be made in memory of Harold E. Wilson to The Pickering House, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
