Fredrick "Fred" Sayer Lanning

Fredrick “Fred” Sayer Lanning, 58, of Logan, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Logan Health Care Center. He was born March 31, 1956 in Geneva, Ohio, son of the late Herman Wilson and Delores Irene Swyers Lanning.

He was a tree trimmer for Asplundh Tree Service.

Fred is survived by his son, Fred Lanning of Nelsonville; brothers, Bill and Butch Lanning; sisters, Diana Lanning and Lori Slone and his first wife, Cindy Wilson of Stockport.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Deana Lanning.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
