Richard "Weirdo" E. Dearing

Richard E. “Weirdo” Dearing, 56, of Nelsonville, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Doctors Hospital Nelsonville. He was born May 8, 1958, in Columbus, son of the late Richard and Velma Dearing. He was married to Luana Starner Dearing, who survives, for 37 years.



In addition to his wife, Luana, he is survived by his daughter, Shannon (William) Davis II and son, Aaron Dearing both of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Zachariah Meyer, Zebadiah Meyer, Allison Meyer and Tommy Davis.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Emma and Vaul Dearing.



Richards’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM, Monday, October 6, 2014 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Rev. King Kelly officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home, Monday, from 11:00 AM, until the time of service.
