William Howard “Bill” Legg, 78, of Logan, passed away Friday, September 26, 2014 at The Laurels of Athens. He was born October 12, 1935 in Columbus, the son of the late Howard and Nancy Fulton Legg.
Bill was a retired truck driver for Hall’s Motor Freight.
He is survived by his sons, Jon (Lisa) Coakley and Robert Williams both of Grove City; nephew, Terry (Joan) Wooten of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Joshua Coakley, Jason Coakley, Adam Williams and Bobby Williams; 2 great grandchildren; life time family friends, Jerrie Schwendeman and Loretta Lambert and several other nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Doris McClary and Gertrude Tufts; an infant brother and close friend, Jim Lambert.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at Antioch Alliance Church, 11947 Antioch Rd., Logan with Pastor Bruce Livingstone officiating. Interment will be at Knollwood Cemetery in Logan. Friends may call Monday, from 6-8 PM, at the church. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
