Barbara Ann Cosner

Barbara Ann Cosner, 73, of Nelsonville, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the OhioHealth Nelsonville Medical and Emergency Services. She was born February 26, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late Robert and Amanda Kallgeros Celaya. She was married to Fred Cosner, who survives, for 44 years.

Barbara retired from Sears.


She is survived by her son, Peter (Virginia) Celaya of The Plains; daughter, Lorelei Cosner of Texas; grandchildren Leta Cosner, Ian Cosner, Andrew (Jess Abt) Jones, Whitney (Mahlon Jensen) Jones, Shaun (Brandi) Jones, Christopher Celaya, Gage Tinlin and Ty Tinlin and 2 great grandchildren.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle Tinlin and a son, Steven Celaya.


A private burial will take place at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
