Bonnie Mae Carsey

Bonnie Mae Carsey, 81, of Millfield, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Hickory Creek Nursing Center, The Plains. She was born July 10, 1933 in Doanville, the daughter of the late Harley and Goldie Speelman Robinette. She was the widow of the late Harold J “Mutt” Carsey, who passed away in 2000.

Bonnie is survived by her daughters, Marcia (David) Shutts and Sheila (John) Wallace both of Millfield; grandchildren, Harold Johnson, DJ Shutts, Kayla Shutts, Kourtney Shutts, Jacob Smith, Allison Smith and Ean Wallace; great grandchild, Caleb Johnson; brother, Robert Robinette of Nelsonville and a special niece, Sharon (Dale) Perry of Nelsonville.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ray Carsey; granddaughter, Kelly Carsey and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, November 14 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Rev. Bill Hunter officiating. Interment will be at Hilltop Cemetery, Millfield. Friends may call from 11:00 AM, until the time of service, at the funeral home.
