Audrey Lea Chute

Audrey Lea Chute 87 of Logan passed away November 14, 2014 at her residence. She was born February 13, 1927 in Morgantown, W. Va., daughter of the late Leonard D. and Gladys Boatwright Harris. Audrey was married to the late Ray C. Chute.

Audrey was a member of the New Hope U.M. Church, was a Volunteer at HVCH for 37 years, and was an active member of Twig II.

She is survived her daughters Marilyn (Tony) Lane of Aiken, S.C., Nancy (Phil) Landes of Logan, and Lynn (Tim) Baumgardner of Marysville, grandchildren Doug Carmean, Tanya Brooks, Amy Brown, and Megan Heberling, 13 great grandchildren, brothers Kenneth Harris of Somerset, James Harris of Amherst, Roger Harris of Logan, Elwood Harris of Logan, and Dean Harris of Rio Grande, sisters Jean Moore of Haydenville, Rose Hubbard of Lakeland, Fl., Katherine Vollmer of Haydenville, Sarah Eberts of Reynoldsburg, and Teresa Glenn of Logan.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Carolyn Sue Carmean, son in law David Carmean, grandson Charles Ray Carmean, sisters Phyllis Holcomb and Thelma Morgan and her brother Delmer Harris.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday in the Cardaras Funeral Home 183 E. Second St. Logan, with Pastor Jenni Dunham officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8PM.
