Ellen Rose Staggs

Ellen Rose Staggs, 65, of Chillicothe, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.  She was born August 29, 1949 in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of Rosemary Burnison Wachovec of Chillicothe and the late Frank Wachovec.  Ellen was married for 14 years to Terence S. Staggs, who survives.

She was the Office Manager for Staggs Roofing Inc.  Ellen loved baking, cooking and cake decorating and was a loving mother to all.

Ellen is survived by her children, Dennis (Lesly) Herbert of McArthur, Jennifer (Steve) Smith of Canton, Ohio and Sean Staggs of Dayton; grandchildren, Alex, Alexis, Makayla, Natalie and Damien; brothers, Paul (Connie) Wachovec, Mike Wachovec of, Chris (Kim) Wachovec, Steven (Kit) Wachovec and Tim (Gina) Wachovec all of Chillicothe and John (Becky) Wachovec of Cuyahoga Falls; sisters, Barb (Barry) Reid of Pickerington, Mary (Tommy) Romans of Yellow Bud, Teresa (Ben) Hash of Bidwell and Janie (Mark) Moss of Chillicothe and many nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  No visitation will be held.  Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, Ohio 45651.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Ellen Rose Staggs to The American Cancer Society, Central Region Office-HCKG, 5555 Frantz Rd., Dublin, Ohio 43017.
