Nancy B. Taylor

Nancy B. Taylor, 82, of McArthur, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Traditions of Chillicothe. She was born May 14, 1932 in Piqua, Ohio, daughter of the late Leonard P. and Rachel L. Lewis Bailey Sr. Nancy was the widow of the late William Taylor.

She was an Elder for the McArthur Presbyterian Church where she was very involved and wrote the history of the McArthur Presbyterian Church. Nancy was an avid bird watcher, gardener and world traveler. She was also a volunteer for the American Cancer Society.

Nancy is survived by her sons, David (Gail) Taylor of Chillicothe, Michael S, (Becky) Taylor of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania and Timothy D. (Connie) Taylor of Marysville; daughter, Tobbi Taylor-Timms of McArthur; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren and brothers, Leonard P. (Marianne) Bailey Jr. of Kettering, Ohio and Edward G. (Susan) Bailey of Springfield.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, December 11, 2014 in the McArthur Presbyterian Church. Inurnment will be held in Kirkwood Cemetery, London, Ohio, at the convenience of the family. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2014 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Nancy B. Taylor to the McArthur Presbyterian Church, 202 W. High St., McArthur, Ohio 45651.
