Emma Pauline Young

Emma Pauline Young, 94, of McArthur, passed away Friday, December 19, 2014 at her residence. She was born October 10, 1920 in Charleston, West Virginia, daughter of the late Joe and Varian Rader Hartney. Pauline was the widow of the late Frank Young.


She is survived by her stepsons, Roger A. (Kathy) Young and Terry Young. Stepdaughters, Pamela (Wayne) Alderman and Teresa (Don) Yors, step grandsons, Matthew (Rita) Acker , W. Douglas (Amanda) Miller, Devin Young , and Christopher Young , and Wesley Yors, step granddaughters, Heather (Keith) Evans, Holly Rider, Cheryl Segundo and Jade Yors. 10 step great grandchildren.



In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Emery “Bill” Cox; sister, Mary Moder and brother, Roy Lee Hartney.



Funeral Services will be held at 11am Tuesday December 23, 2014 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, McArthur with Pastor Larry Ault officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Chillicothe. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9AM until time of service.
