Helen M. Cottrill

Helen M. Cottrill, 89, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. She was born August 2, 1925 in Oreton, Ohio, daughter of the late Forest Camp and Emma Malone Camp Gaston. Helen was the widow of the late Raymond Cottrill.

She retired from Cottrills Drive Inn in Hamden.

Helen is survived by her son, Dean Cottrill of Zaleski; granddaughter, Tracy Cottrill of McArthur; great granddaughter, Ariel Cottrill of Clay City, Kentucky; caregiver and best friend, Caroline Cottrill of McArthur; brothers, Forest Camp of Lexington, Ohio and Ralph Gaston of Mansfield and sisters, Ann Belcher of Maringo, Ilene Baker of Lexington, Ohio and Minnie Couch of Mansfield.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ethel Rosato.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m., Friday, December 26, 2014 at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur. Private services will be held at a later date.
