Eva F. Freeman, age 85 of Logan, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the Pickering House in Lancaster. She was born April 14, 1929 in Hocking County, daughter of the late Calvin and Margaret Christian Williams. She was the widow of the late Earl W. Freeman.
She was retired from Goodyear in Logan. Eva was a loving grandma who enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to dinner with friends, eating breakfast at Jack’s Steakhouse, and playing Bingo.
She is survived by her son Steve (Kathy) Freeman, of Ada, MI; grandchildren, Melissa (Michael Mumper) Freeman, Nathan (Kerry) Freeman, Bethany (Charles) Willis, Tessa and Tyler Freeman; great grandchildren, Jackson Mumper, Patrick, Kelly and J.T Freeman, Abby, Charles, Gabriel and Molly Willis; brother Robert Williams, of New Lexington; sisters Helen (Wendell) Proctor, of Heath and Erma Dane, of Carbon Hill.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Earl W. Freeman; brothers Calvin Williams Jr., Clint and Roger Williams.
Funeral services will held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second Street, Logan with Pastor Vernon Barrell officiating. Interment to follow at Shaw Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
