Sharon M. "Sherry" Nott

Sharon M. “Sherry” Nott, 63, of Glouster, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 at her residence. She was born October 8, 1951 in Glouster, daughter of the late Crawford Morgan and Maxine Wade Morgan Hardy. She was married to Roger Nott, who survives, for 46 years.

Sherry retired from the Trimble Local School. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church in Glouster and loved to garden and grow flowers. Sherry loved a bargain; she was a Thrift Store Queen. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Roger (Sheri) Nott Jr. of Logan; daughters, Monica (Jeff) Koons and Misty (Dan) Smith both of Glouster; grandchildren, Jacob, Tanner and Sawyer Koons, Dow Pinkerton, Hope Smith, Owen Nott and Raegan Nott; half brother, Gene (Roberta) Morgan of Logan; sister, April Williams of Glouster and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, John Hardy; brothers, Butch and Buck Morgan and a sister, Marge Dorsey.


Sherry’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM, Thursday, January 15, 2015 at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 30 Main St., Glouster with Phil Westenbarger officiating. Friends may call from 3-5 PM, Thursday, at the funeral home.
