Patricia Jane Howdyshell

Patricia Jane Howdyshell, 82, of Logan, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at her residence. She was born June 2, 1932 in Bremen, OH, daughter of the late Henry and Irene Wolford McCandlish. She was the widow of the late Joe Howdyshell, who passed away in 2012.


Patricia was a member of the Logan Women of the Moose Chapter 997.


She is survived by her son, Harley (Mary) Howdyshell of Logan; daughters, Rebecca (Steve) Arthur and Sarah (Duane) Stretton both of New Straitsville; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Tom McCandlish of Rushville and her sisters, Victoria McGee of Newark and Ann Bridges of Missouri.


In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 5 brothers, 2 sisters and a great grandson, Luke Alexander Davies.


Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, January 19, 2015 at Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan with Rev. Steve Daugherty officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Perry County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM.
