David Allen Rose

David Allen Rose, 55, of Shade, OH, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at his residence. He was born June 8, 1959, in Pikeville, KY, son of the late Bennie and Corinne Anderson Rose. He was married to JoAnn Hickman Rose, who survives, for 38 years.


In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Marjorie (Richard O’Nail) Rose of Nelsonville and Rebecca (Christopher McLaughlin) Rose of Corning; grandchildren, Sarah Jo O’Nail, Garret Justin O’Nail, Dylan Rose, Marlee McLaughlin, Jared David O’Nail; brothers, Bennie Charles Rose of Senecaville, Terry (Sharlene) Rose of Nelsonville, sisters, Vickie Lynn Rose and Donna (David) Scarberry both of Pomeroy, Melanie (Jerry) Dishong of Nelsonville, April (Jeremy) Sharp of Nelsonville; special friend, Larry (Nancy) Davis of Shade and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Rose; sister, Janet Rose and a niece, Corrine Hickman.


Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Rev. Ernie Perkins officiating. Interment will be at Whitmore Cemetery in Buchtel. Friends may call Saturday from 10 AM until the time of service, at the funeral home.
