Brenda E. Pyle

Brenda E. Pyle, 66, of Lancaster, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 at Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. She was born October 21, 1948 in Columbus, the daughter of the late Willard D. Pyle and Mary E. Mitchell (Pyle) Wright.

Brenda is survived by her sisters, Diana (Neil) Handa of Westerville, Pamela (Ed) Mesaros of Glouster and Terri (Donnie) Cook of Murray City; uncles, R. Wayne Mitchell of Murray City and John “Jack” (Ruth) Mitchell of Wooster; aunts, Velma Pyle of Lima, Cecelia Pyle of Pickerington, June L. “Betty” Newman of New Straitsville and Donna Mitchell of Nelsonville and several nieces and nephews.


In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Richard Wright; special uncle, Carl “Eddie” Pyle and several other aunts and uncles.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Rev. Ernie Perkins officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call from 11:00 AM, until the time of service, Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Special thanks to Crestview Nursing Home in Lancaster, where Brenda had made her home for over the last 30 years. The family sincerely appreciates all the care and love she received there.
