Bryan Todd Ball

Bryan Todd Ball, 39, of Chauncey, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015 at OhioHealth O’Bleness Hospital. He was born February 9, 1976, in Athens, son of the late Lena Darlene Ball Frazier.


Bryan graduated from Athens High School with honors and graduated with a Business Degree from Hocking College. Even with his education he chose not to “conform to a 9-5 job”; instead he loved his job and chose to work at the Union St. Diner for many years.

He is survived by his son, Chase Jones; grandmother, Jean Ball of Chauncey; cousins and their families, John (Shawna) Sams of Chauncey, Kelly Lowery of Nelsonville, Barry Lowery of Glouster, Jillian (Alicia) Sams of Texas, Jenna Sams and Erin Lowery both of Glouster; aunt, Debbie (Barry) Lowery of Glouster and an uncle, Lane Sams of Chauncey.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by an aunt, Sherri Sams.


Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, February 20, 2015 at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Rev. Gary Alton officiating. Interment will be at Hilltop Cemetery in Millfield. Friends may call Friday from 11 AM until the time of service, at the funeral home.
