Verna B. Anderson

Verna B. Anderson, 94, of Logan, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at The Pickering House in Lancaster. She was born June 16, 1920, in Battle Lake, MN daughter of the late Melvin and Anna Lenora Lee Erickson. She was the widow of the late Lloyd O. Anderson, who passed away in 2005.

Verna is survived by her sons, Andy Anderson, Dennis Anderson and Gary (Barbara) Anderson all of Logan; daughter, Verona Catlin of Logan; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters,Luella (Elmer) Trosdahl of Battle Creek, Minnesota and Adeline.


In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Burt and Roger Erickson; sister Genevieve Franklin; grandson, Leslie Catlin; daughters-in-law Patricia Anderson and Kay Ferguson.

Verna’s wishes were to be cremated. No services will be held. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
