Betty Ann Allison

Betty Ann Allison, 94, of Eaton, formerly of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at her residence. She was born December 31, 1920 in McArthur, daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Estella Tabitha Wyman Smith. Betty was the widow of the late Cecil M. Allison.

She retired from Dayton Flexible Products, Division of Baxter and attended the First Presbyterian Church in Eaton.

Betty is survived by her sons, John (Mary) Allison of Prescott, Arizona, Christopher Allison of Cross Junction, Virginia and Fred (Dayna) Allison of Troy, Ohio; daughters, Dixie (Emmitt) Smith of Dacula, Georgia and Jane (Ron) Clark of Gilmer, Texas; nine grandchildren, including a special grandson, Adrian Allison of Fort Hood, Texas; fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Charles “Eddie” Allison; grandson, Timothy Allison and brothers, Earl and Harry (Betty) Smith.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2015 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Frank Rupnik and Pastor Wayne Morrison officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
