Roger W. Daubenmire, 64, of Logan, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at his residence. He was born December 1, 1950 in Lancaster, son of Gloria M. Wallett Daubenmire of Sugar Grove and the late Harold F. Daubenmire.
He was a retired truck driver and a Vietnam Army Veteran. Roger was a member of Sponogal Lutheran Church in Sugar Grove, a member of Logan Amvets Post #1776 and he was known as “Mud Dauber” on the CB Radio.
Roger is survived by his sons, Greg (Crystal) Daubenmire of Gravette, Arkansas and Craig A. Daubenmire of Gahanna; grandchildren, Kelsey, Kevin, Karlee and Keagan; brother, Harold (Mona) Daubenmire of Logan; sister, Ella Fouch of Sugar Grove; special friend, Marty Harden of Logan and former wife, Janet Daubenmire.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Dan Fouch.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2015 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Greg Daubenmire officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge, with military graveside services being conducted by the Hocking County Honor Guard. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 5-8 p.m. and on Tuesday, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
