Ethel Jane Harris

Ethel Jane Harris, 82, of McArthur, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015 at her residence. She was born June 14, 1932 in Vinton County, daughter of the late Joseph and Lillian Bernard Thompson. Ethel was the widow of the late James A. Harris.

She is survived by her sons, Gary (Pat) Harris of McArthur and Ronald (Wendy) Harris of Chillicothe; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Thompson of McArthur and sisters, Kay (Bill) Whitting of Florida and Betty (Bob) Harris of Grove City.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, James A. Harris and sister, June.

At her request, no services will be held. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
