Betty Irene Poling

Betty Irene Poling, 88, of Logan, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. She was born May 15, 1926 in Hocking County, daughter of the late Charles A. and Nettie Mae Helber Poling.

She retired from Logan Clay Products, attended the Logan Church of The Nazarene and was very active with Girls Scouts in Hocking County.

Betty is survived by her nephews, David (Teresa) Bartholomew of Lancaster and James (Renee) Bartholomew of Logan; niece, Carol (Ron) Fox of Lancaster; special friend and caregiver, Lisa Klingler of Logan and several great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, Letha and Robert Bartholomew.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Saturday, April 4, 2015 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Clarence Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 5-8 p.m.
