Ellen Y. Waldbusser, 63, of Glouster, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born November 14, 1951 in Cleveland, the daughter of Ray Calvert of Buchtel and the late Mary Smith Calvert. She was the widow of the late Arthur Waldbusser.
Ellen was a very kind and personable person. She never let people go hungry or go without a roof over their head. Family was everything to Ellen, she loved all of them dearly, especially her grandchildren. Ellen was also an avid, faithful Walking Dead follower and when she wasn’t watching it, she was watching the Bravo Channel.
She is survived by her sons, Josh Levandofsky and Dwayne Mays both of Glouster; daughter, Melissa Levandofsky of Glouster; grandchildren, Rylie and Piper Levandofsky; sister, Brenda (Denver) Conkel of Buchtel; special uncle, Don “Barlow” Smith and was a mother figure to several, much loved, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and mother, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Levandofsky; infant sister, Phyllis Calvert; brothers, Jack Smith and Don Calvert, former husband and father of her children, Michael Levandofsky and her former parents-in-law, Adolph and Esther Levandofsky.
Ellen’s wishes were to be cremated. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 2-4 PM, Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
