Bobby Lee Osborne, 82, of McArthur, formerly of Columbus, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 at his residence. He was born April 27, 1932 in Pikeville, Kentucky, son of the late Sylvester and Gertrude Osborne. Bobby was married to Patricia Hermann Osborne, who survives.
He was a bartender for Zaleski Tavern for sixteen years and was a social member of the McArthur VFW Post # 5299.
In addition to his wife, Bobby is survived by his son, Bobby Lee Osborne Jr. of Ashville, Ohio; daughter, Debbie Pack of Circleville; stepsons, Harold (Sonya) Dalton and Charlie (Tracy) Dalton both of Columbus; stepdaughters, Debbie (Rod) Denner and Samantha (James) Clay both of McArthur and Brandy Dalton of Buckeye Lake; several grandchildren, including a special granddaughter, Brooke Dalton of McArthur; several great grandchildren; brother, James (Brenda) Osborne of Newton, North Carolina; sisters, Jeanette (Richard) Shultz and Pansy Krueger both of Columbus and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Johnny and Ricky Osborne; brothers, Bill, Sterling and Lacy and sisters, Menda and Clarabelle.
Funeral services will be held 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 8, 2015 in Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 with Pastor Tom Vasiloff officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur on Tuesday, from 5-8 p.m. and on Wednesday, at Newcomer Funeral Home in Grove City from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
