William Richard Kerr

Nelsonville native William Richard "Bill" Kerr, 85, died Thursday, April 9, 2015. He was the son of the late Charles and Vada Corwin Kerr.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 65 years, Rachel Agnes Bateman Kerr; two much-loved daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Gene McKnight of Athens, and Kathy Kerr and Steve Robb of Athens; an adored granddaughter, Erin Robb of Amesville; his dear sister and her husband, Clarabelle and James Knight; and a very special niece and nephew, Guyla Bateman and Kent Bateman of Nelsonville.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles.
There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
