Blanche M. Pratt

Blanche M. Pratt, 62, of Chauncey, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015 at O’Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens. She was born August 18, 1952 in Olney, Maryland, daughter of the late Claude and Bertha Morris Carlisle. Blanche was the widow of the late John Bradford Pratt.

She is survived by her daughter, Samantha Pratt; grandchildren, Bradford L. Black and Korisa C. (Doug Stobart) Black, all of Chauncey and a brother, Everett Carlisle of South Carolina.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her great granddaughter, Brooklyn; brothers, John, James and Claude Jr. Calisle and a sister, Barbara Shifflett.

Blanche’s wishes were to be cremated. No services will be held. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
