John W. Appleman

John W. Appleman, 49, of McArthur, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015 at his residence. He was born March 27, 1966 in Hocking County, son of the late Rev. Willard W. and Rev. Ruth Annabelle Harkless Appleman.

He was a Habilitation Specialist with Southern Ohio Adventures Recreation in Hamden.

John is survived by his son, Caleb (Amanda Armstrong) Appleman; daughters, Faith (Jeffrey Misner) Appleman, Rachael Appleman and Trinity Appleman, all of McArthur; grandchildren, Lucian Appleman and Novanth Misner and a sister, Freeda Ankrom of McArthur.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Clifton R. and Charles G. Appleman and a sister, Rosa Tatman.

John’s wishes were to be cremated. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
