Kevin A. Stinnett

Kevin A. Stinnett, 22, was released from his fight with cancer on Sunday May 24, 2015. He is now with the Lord. He was born August 4, 1992 in Athens, son of Don and Kellie Gilbraith Stinnett of Carbondale. He is survived by his wife, Leslie Casto Stinnett.

Kevin was a graduate of Nelsonville York and Tri County High Schools and received his Certificate in Auto Body and Auto Painting from Ohio Technical College. He was also a member of the Oak Grove Wesleyan Church.

In addition to his wife and parents, Kevin is survived by his 2 babies Isaiah and Chelsea; his sisters, Ashley Stinnett-Dishong (Evan Dishong) and Cassandra Stinnett (Kris Young); his nephews, Gavin and Jacob Dishong and Dale Young; paternal grandmother, Marjorie Padgett-Morris; maternal grandfather, Bobby Gilbrieth and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Kevin was preceded in death by his daughter Sydney Alice Stinnett; paternal grandfather, Dan Stinnett and maternal grandmother Annabelle Galbraith.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Jerry Sheets officiating. Interment will be at Asbury Cemetery, Hocking County. Friends may call Thursday, from 11:00 AM, until the time of service, at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, 700 Children’s Dr. Columbus, OH 43205.
