Donald E. Flood, 75, of Logan, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at The Pickering House in Lancaster. He was born November 21, 1939 in Logan, son of the late George W. and Barbara Barnhart Flood. Donald was married to Judy Cook Flood, who survives.
He was a retired contractor.
In addition to his wife, Donald is survived by his son, Tony E. (Jayne Athey) Flood of Tremont City, Ohio; daughters, Linda (Jeff) Sharb of Logan and Diana (Bill) Ackland of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Tony E. II, Tanner, Beth, Brennon, Andrew and Abigail; great grandchildren, Trinity, Caylie and Tony E. III and sisters, Grace Sickles of Indiana, Pennsylvania and Marjorie (Ronald) Bernard of Corning, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Iris Flood Giacobbie.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, June 5, 2015 in the Peoples Church, 30811 Lake Logan Rd., Logan, with Rev. Charles Fidler officiating. Interment will be in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge. Friends may call at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, on Thursday, from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday, one hour prior to the service at the church.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Donald E. Flood to FairHope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
